BACKGROUND
Every second there is a fire that breakout in some part of the world. Based on NFPA Organisation "
in every 20 seconds, a fire department responds to a fire somewhere in the United States".
Just looking at this fact, imagine what its like in the whole world?
In Singapore, there are total 15 fire stations located all over the island. There are 4 types of firefighters, Structural, Wildland, Aircraft and Shipboard. The most commonly recognized are the Structural firefighters, as they are the ones in-charge of neighborhood fire breakouts.
ISSUES
From our research, we have discovered that many firefighter’s needs are not met and there are also potential ways to improve on the current self-contain breathing apparatus (SCBA).
PROJECT
WARRIORS is a Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA), that aids firefighters in their rescue mission.
PURPOSE
To re-design the current SCBA, to improve the usage and handling of the device. In this re-designed SCBA would be focusing on the backplate, waist strap, and personal escape rope.
BRAND
Rescue is made easier with WARRIORS. Firefighters now could move easier without restraint. This SCBA could be put on easily just with 2 steps

WHY WARRIORS?
- Our frame is built smaller to fit the small Asian frame
- It's able to be customized to you proffered waist height
- Rotatable waist strap that allows more movement during tough missions
- Time for putting on the SCBA is greatly reduced
- Personal escape rope will always be well kept and easy to use.
